Lily is featured in the upcoming People Magazine’s World’s Most Beautiful Woman issue which will hit newsstand this friday. People already released the first outtake of Lily, wearing no make up and still looking absolutely stunning. You can find the preview below, and be sure to head to our gallery for the full version.

With her ethereal good looks, singer Phil Collins’s daughter was the obvious choice to play Snow White in Mirror Mirror, opposite Julia Roberts. But the budding actress, 23, didn’t always appreciate her unique features. “It used to bother me – having bigger, fuller brows,” she told Seventeen. “Now I embrace them. I’ve realized the quirky things that make you different are what make you beautiful.”

Lily Collins isn’t that famous yet, but the London-to-LA transplant is about to become a very recognizable face, thanks to her starring role as Snow White in Mirror Mirror. (Fun fact: She also auditioned for the other Snow White flick which stars Kristen Stewart!)
Luke Crisell met up with Collins at her grandmother’s old apartment in Beverly Hills – they later went to a flea market and a gay bar full of singing drag queens (Lily’s choice, by the way), to talk about what’s next.

Kate Middleton, it is said, waited eight years to become a princess. For Lily Collins, it took less than 24 hours. The audition was on a Thursday. On Friday morning, her cell rang with the storybook offer of a lifetime: She would play Snow White in the big-screen fantasy Mirror Mirror, opposite living legend Julia Roberts as the evil queen. “Because it was just like a fairy tale, it sometimes feels like, ‘Wait, is this happening?’ ” Collins says between sips of tea at one of her favorite West Hollywood restaurants.

Lily Collins embarks on a thoroughly modern fairy tale with her first starring role, as a sword-fighting, prince-saving Snow White.
When Lily Collins arrived for her first costume fitting as Snow White on the Montreal set of Mirror Mirror, she assumed the most fabulous getups would go to her co-star Julia Roberts, who plays the evil queen. “I saw all these dramatic, colourful, amazing outfits and I thought, ‘Wow, Julia’s so lucky,’” says the 23-year-old British-born actress who’s best known for playing Sandra Bullock’s daughter in The Blind Side. “And then they started bringing them in, and I said, ‘Is this for me?’ The first outfit took 25 minutes to get into, and when I looked in the mirror I got teary-eyed.” Then there were the elaborate sets; she describes a giant indoor forest and 40 tons of salt for snow. “I was sprinting through this huge room of trees, in my ball gown, sword-fighting, going up cliffs,” she marvels. “When the crew brought their kids onto set, they would see me and start crying. They were like, ‘Blanche Neige!’”

What we know so far about Taylor Lautner’s first big non-”Twilight” movie “Abduction” is: not much. Except that he will be running. And protecting co-star Lily Collins. And peeking around things. Luckily MTV News caught up with Lily recently to get a few more details about the plot, what new sides of Taylor we’ll see in the action movie and, of course, if he’ll be shirtless at any point.

“[He is] very Jason Bourne-esque, of course with his own twist on it,” Lily explained of Taylor’s character in the film. “It’s a complete departure from Jacob. Obviously I’m in the movie so I’m biased, but I think it’s going to completely shock his fans, and people that necessarily don’t know him very well as Jacob that aren’t ‘Twilight’ fans. I think he brings an aspect people haven’t seen yet and [it's] very, very exciting.”
Regarding how their characters come to be involved in a few life-threatening situations, Lily explained that they have a history, so to speak.
And we also got to talk to Lily Collins, who plays the young Lucy, who gets kidnapped by vampires, thus sparking the movie’s rescue plot. We asked Collins how she tried to take the character beyond the usual “damsel in distress” role. And she said:
I start out as a damsel in distress [and] end up a fighter. There’s pivotal moments in the film where you’ll see Lucy clocking certain weapons or things, and she stores them to use up later, and she ends up turning into a fighter and taking her destiny into her own hands. So she definitely has her own thing going on at the end.

“I’m Tweeting as Clary Fray, and we’ve got almost 12,000 people now,” Lily said. “All the fans are writing in ideas. I’m linking out images of different aspects of the film and set pieces and wanting their input,” she explained. “Also knowing who they want as Jace, just making sure they feel as involved as I do because like I said, I’m a fan just like them and I’m Clary, so I want their input because I’m one of them as well.”
Since playing Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw’s daughter in The Blind Side, Lily Collins‘ career has really taken off. Collins just nabbed the lead in Relativity Media’s Snow White project, is set to take on the starring role of ‘Clary’ in The Mortal Instruments, and she recently wrapped up work on Abduction opposite Twilight’s Taylor Lautner. Plus, she’ll soon be seen on the big screen in the action-adventure thriller Priest.
The 22 year old actress joined her Priest co-stars Paul Bettany and Cam Gigandet at the 2011 WonderCon in San Francisco to talk about the genre-bending film set for release on May 13th.
